As Chennai Super Kings took down Gujarat Titans to register their second-consecutive win of the IPL 2024 season, the Yellow Army discovered a new star, UP batter Sameer Rizvi, who played a dazzling cameo. Celebrating this feat a video of Rizvi's family has gone viral on social.
Coming to bat in the 19th over, Sameer Rizvi didn't waste any time and slog-swept one of the world's T20 bowlers, Rashid Khan for a maximum on the first ball of his IPL career. Then the 20-year-old found a double before smashing another six on the last ball of the over. Rizvi then got out in the next over and walked back to the dressing room after smashing 14 in just six balls.
