Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik was in the news as he got married for the third time ahe ad of the ongoing Pakistan Super League. Malik wedded Pakistani actor Sana Javed, who went viral on social media as she was spotted supporting her husband in Karachi Kings' recent loss to Multan Sultans in Multan. The Pakistani all-rounder scored 53 in 35 balls while also bowling two overs where he gave just ten runs.
Shoaib Malik was previously married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and their separation created a lot of controversy. The pair got married in Hyderabad back in 2010 in a traditional ceremony after Malik divorced his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui. Shoaib and Sania also had a child, Izhaan in 2018. But over the last year, several rumours about the pair being separated surfaced before Malik got married to Sana Javed in 2024.
Coming back to the PSL fixture, Shoaib Malik came into bat after the Karachi Kings were reduced to 10-2 when the camera panned towards the crowd where Sana Javed was spotted. Malik played a valiant knock but got out Abbas Afridi in the 14th over, triggering a collapse which led to Karachi's defeat.

Further talking about the game, Multan Sultans' Reeza Hendricks emerged as the star performer with his unbeaten 79 in 54 balls with seven fours and three sixes to post a total of 188. Then with the ball, Mohammad Ali picked up three wickets as the Kings were restricted to 130-8 in their 20 overs.
