Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson pulled a brilliant diving catch to dismiss Mumbai Indians star Rohit Sharma on a golden duck at the Wankhede Stadium. Coming to Mumbai after two dominant victories, Rajasthan won the toss and started brilliantly with the ball as Trent Boult delivered three dot balls against Ishan Kishan before the southpaw took a single.
Facing his first ball of the match, Rohit Sharma saw a short of good length delivery which moved away and took a thick outside edge. As the ball moved towards the slips, Sanju Samson put in a full-length dive to complete a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Rohit.

Trent Boult continued breathing fire as he caught newcomer Naman Dhir plumb LBW and then dismissed impact sub, Dewald Brevis, at another golden duck. Supporting Boult, Nandre Burger also looked effective as he dismissed Ishan Kishan at a score of 16 in 14 balls.
Will get help for the fast bowlers: Sanju Samson
Speaking at the toss, Sanju Samson expected his fast bowlers to perform well on seaming conditions. He said, "We want to bowl first. The wicket looks fresh, it's the first game of the season, will get help for the fast bowlers. We would like to keep on doing the same things. Sandeep misses out, he is not fit. Burger comes in."
