Jasprit Bumrah Likely to Lead India BGT opening Test

With Rohit Sharma unavailable for the Perth Test, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is expected to lead the team. The squad features prominent players like Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and others. All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy and fast bowler Harshit Rana are likely to make their debut in this series.

With Shubman Gill injured and unavailable for the match, Devdutt Padikkal is likely to play at No. 3. KL Rahul is expected to open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal. In the middle order, Dhruv Jurel and Nitish Kumar Reddy are most likely to play, meaning Sarfaraz Khan may have to wait for his turn to play on Australian soil.
