Pakistani leg spinner Shadab Khan shared a fun moment with young fans during the second T20I match against New Zealand in Auckland. While fielding, Shadab tricked the kids by portraying that he is giving them the ball but took his hand back as one of the kids tried to take the ball. The incident occurred during the second over of New Zealand’s innings.

As New Zealand were heading towards the target of 136 runs, Finn Allen smashed a four off Mohammad Ali’s delivery on the fourth ball of the second over. Shadab Khan tried to stop the ball but it already went past the boundary line. As soon as the ball reached the boundary line, a kid came the collect it but he had to stop near the fence. However, Shadab collected the ball and went towards that kid pretending he is going to give him the ball. However, as the kid tried to grab the ball, Shadab took his hand back and left with a evil smile.

New Zealand defeated Pakistan to take 2-0 lead

Talking about the match, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by five wickets to take a lead of 2-0 in a five-match ODI series. Batting first, Pakistan posted 135/9 in their 15 overs in a rain-affected encounter. Skipper Salman Ali Agha was the top scorer with 46(28) runs hitting four fours and three sixes, while Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi also scored 26 runs and 22* runs respectively. For New Zealand, Ish Sodhi, James Neesham, Jacob Duffy and Ben Sears scalped two wickets each.

Chasing the winning target, Tim Seifert scored 45(22) runs while Finn Allen scored 38(16) runs as New Zealand chased the target in 13.1 overs losing five wickets. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took two wickets, while Mohammad Ali, Khushdil Shah, Jahandad Khan scalped a wicket each.
