Mitchell Marsh played one of his career’s best knocks in the third Ashes Test which is currently underway at Headingley. Came to bat at No. 6 when the Kangaroos were reeling at 85/4, Marsh brought up a fabulous ‘bazball’ish century in just 102 deliveries which consisted of 15 fours and three huge sixes. His brother and former cricketer Shaun Marsh absolutely loved his younger brother's inning.
The 39-year-old Shaun was watching the game at a restaurant and was seen celebrating wildly as soon as his brother tapped the ball to take a single and completed his century.
In the video posted by Shaun Marsh on his Instagram, he can be seen watching the Ashes Test in a restaurant. He looked visibly tensed when Mitchell was batting at 99*, but he erupted in joy as soon as Mitchell took the single to bring up his maiden hundred away from home. Shaun can be seen hugging his close friends and family in the emotional video.
The former Aussie batter and his companions were screaming loudly as Mitchell Marsh completed the stunning knock. The video posted was captioned, "So Proud" by Shaun Marsh. It was certainly an emotional and heartwarming moment for Mitchell Marsh as well as his close people.

Australia put up a below-par first-innings score of 263 in the end despite Mitchell Marsh’s lone warrior century. Mark Wood was the pick of the bowlers for England as he cleaned up the Aussie tail in short succession after Marsh’s wicket. He ended his innings with fiery figures of 5/34. It will interesting to see how England go on about their approach during their batting, considering that this a potentially do-or-die game for them if they want to stand a chance to win or draw the Ashes.
