Talking about Shreyas Iyer, the Mumbai-born batter has been one of India’s top batters over the last few years. But Iyer was ruled out of the recently concluded New Zealand series because of a back injury. Iyer is currently at NCA for rehabilitation work in order to get fit for Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Reports say that based on Iyer's current fitness, the Kolkata Knight Riders captain isn’t categorically ruled out of the Nagpur game. But he is set to remain at the NCA in Bengaluru and continue his rehab program in order to be 100 percent fit for the second Test in Delhi starting February 17.
