Indian batting star Shreyas Iyer completed a crucial century against Australia in the second ODI at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Batting first, the Men in Blue lost opener Ruturaj Gaikwad at a score of eight in the fourth over.

After this early wicket, Gill and Iyer dug in and smashed Aussie bowlers all around the stadium to complete a 100-partnership in 13 overs. As the duo was set in the middle continued scoring fluently. Then in the 30th over, Iyer, facing off against Adam Zampa drove a low-full-toss towards long on to complete the third century in his ODI career.

Celebrating this knock, Iyer roared in joy and pointed towards the heavens. But soon after reaching this milestone, Iyer was dismissed by Sean Abott with the score of 105 in 90 balls.
