Indian team management has given captaincy to many players in absence of Rohit Sharma
In the absence of Rohit Sharma from T20I format since the T20 World Cup 2022, the Indian team management has given the leadership reigns to Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Suryakumar Yadav one after another. The newest captain in the T20I format for India, Suryakumar Yadav, is currently in the midst of a five-match series against Australia, winning the first two before losing the third contest.
