Notably, this was Bangladesh’s first win against Sri Lanka in World Cups and also the highest successful chase for Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka in ODIs. Moreover, the match also saw the highest successful chased in Delhi and Bangladesh’s fourth ODI win in India.
While the Islanders will next take on New Zealand at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Bangladesh will take on five-time champions, Australia at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on November 11.
