The NBA 2023-24 regular season is just three days away with teams warming up in the preseason fixtures as Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors hosted Victory Wembanyama's San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center on Friday night. A rare moment was captured during the jump ball between the Warriors and Spurs as 6'3 Steph Curry contested against 7-foot-4 Wembanyama as the commentators termed it the "coolest ever jump ball."
The French youngster, Victor Wembanyama, who is playing his first NBA preseason, led the Spurs to a 117-122 victory against the Warriors on Friday night. The French center registered 19 points, five blocks, four rebounds, and one assist and steal each in 20 minutes to help his team win the game.
In a rare incident from the match, Warriors guard Steph Curry contested Spurs center Wembanyama for the jump ball. While many were delighted with the iconic sighting, the Spurs easily took possession as Wembanyama, who barely required to jump against Curry, tossed the ball to his teammate.

Talking about the game, the 20-year-old forward, Jeremy Sochan was the top performer for the Spurs with his seven points, 11 rebounds, and six assists followed by Devin Vassell and Zach Collins, who scored 13 points each. On the other hand, Warriors guard Moses Moody was the top scorer for his side with 18 points and eight rebounds in 16 minutes while shooting 7-off-11 from the field.
