Australian batter Steve Smith pulled off an incredible diving catch in the County Championship match against Leice stershire. Smith arrived in England to play for Sussex as an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Ashes tour which will be hosted by the Three Lions. In his short stint, Smith has already presented some memorable moments.

Going back to Smith’s magical catch, the Aussie international was stationed at the second slip as England international Rehan Ahmed faced off against Henry Crocombe. The 21-year-old right-arm pacer sent out a full delivery which managed to get an outside edge of Ahmed’s bat. The ball was flying away from the second slip but Steve Smith put in one of his trademark full-stretch dives to complete a magical catch.

Talking about his stint with Sussex, Steve Smith spoke about how he is excited to contribute to a successful season.
