Talking about the game, MS Dhoni’s CSK continued their losing record against Gujarat Titans as they failed to defend 178. For Chennai, Ruturaj Gaikwad was the star performer as he smashed 92 in 50 balls with four fours and nine sixes. But the Titans retaliated with Shubman Gill’s blistering 63 in 36 and a late flurry by Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan, clinching a five-wicket win.

Reacting to this performance, MS Dhoni had some praiseful words for Gaikwad and described his batting as a ‘pleasure to watch’. He said, “We all knew there will be dew. We could have done a bit more with the batsman ship. Ruturaj (Gaikwad) was brilliant, he times the ball well and he's a pleasure to watch. The way he picks his options, it is pleasing to watch.”
