India batter Suryakumar Yadav is having an unforgettable outing in the ODI series against Australia as he registered his third consecutive golden duck on Wednesday. As Surya came out to bat in the third ODI, he was dismissed on the very first ball he faced. This was the third instance in three games when Surya was dismissed on the very first ball he faced. While it was Mitchell Starc on the first two occasions, Ashton Agar got the best out of Yadav in the third ODI.

As Virat Kohli fell after he handed a dolly to David Warner at long-off, Surya came out to bat at No.7 (not his usual batting position). He was served an arm ball from Agar first up and the batter looked on all fours as he played it on the back foot. Surya missed putting the bat to the ball and ended up seeing his stumps scattered. The batter then had a “cynical smile” on his face.

This wicket turned out to be a deciding factor in the game as India lost the series decider by 21 runs. Also, it was the Men in Blue's first series defeat at home in the last four years.
