On Friday, February 9, the Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav met with the former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who had arrived in India for the first time to commence his three-city tour starting with Bengaluru. The 50-year-old landed at the Kempegowda International Airport on Friday morning, where he was greeted by many Red Devils fans in a grand welcome.

On his three-day trip, as part of the "An Evening with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,” he is going to spend the first day in Bengaluru, followed by a visit to Mumbai on February 10, and then, he will end his stay in India at the nation’s capital in New Delhi on February 11. As per the report from CNBCTV18, the former UEFA Champions League winner has been invited to India by the die-hard Manchester United fan and Sports Entrepreneur Tilak Gaurang Shah, who has founded the quizzing company, the Ace of Pubs.

The first day of his visit to India saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer meet with one of the best T20 batters in the world Suryakumar Yadav. The video of their interaction was shared by RevSportz on their official X account, wherein Solskjaer was spotted holding the current Indian cricket team jersey alongside SKY, who had the iconic Manchester United jersey from the 90s in his hands.

Moreover, Suryakumar Yadav is currently on the sidelines from cricket after undergoing surgery for a sports hernia in Germany last month. The 33-year-old last played for India against South Africa in the third T20I of the three-match series at the Wanderers in Johannesburg in mid-December.
