After losing two back-to-back T20I games against West Indies, the Indian side bounced back stronger in the third game and won the match by a notable margin of seven wickets. India had a tough opening with losing their promising openers Yashaswi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill at one and six runs. However, the name that emerged as a beacon of light for his side was Suryakumar Yadav. Yadav produced 83 runs off 44 balls, and almost led his team to the other side. After completion of the game, the Player of the Match interacted with a special fan, including other fans.
The highlight of Yadav’s 83-run inning was the helicopter shot he played in the 13th over, bowled by Alzarri Joseph. After leading his team almost to the finishing line, the 32-year-old took out some time and interacted with his fans. In a video shared by the BCCI, India’s T20I star could be seen signing autographs and clicking pictures with his fans. Not only this, but SKY also a specially-abled fan and gave him autograph.

Speaking of the game, the hosts won the toss and invited the visitors to field first. Owing to the brilliant spells by Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Mukesh Kumar, the West Indies side managed to score 159 runs at the loss of five wickets. Coming to chase the score, the Indian side shouldered on the solid partnership of SKY and Tilak Varma, and successfully chased the target in 17.5 overs.
