The Indian Test squad now has more worries to ponder onto than prepare for the much-awaited World Test Championship Final 2021-23. After Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant’s injury have already ruled them out from the squad, the injury list continues to hit the BCCI.
While Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav continues to struggle with their respective niggles, India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul sustained an injury during the second over of the match while trying to save a boundary. However, a confirmation on his injury is still awaited.
But in a video during the match, it was also confirmed that Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat, who recently made a comeback in India whites after a long layoff also sustained a shoulder injury during the net practice ahead of LSG vs RCB match. Indian Premier League’s official handle also shared the video of the left-arm pacer wishing his speedy recovery after his injury. In the video it can be seen that the pacer fell abruptly on the pitch on the follow-up after delivering a ball.
