Indian players fumble while pronouncing ‘Gqeberha’
The Men in Blue and their skipper KL Rahul tried to pronounce Gqeberha, the new name of Port Elizabeth. Gqeberha is where both sides will meet for the second of three ODI games. In a video posted by the BCCI, Indian players, including Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, and Sanju Samson could be seen waiting to board their flight at the airport. The team was flying from Johannesburg to Gqeberha and was asked how their destination was pronounced.
The players and supporting staff failed hilariously at their attempts before the skipper came up with the right pronunciation as well as spelling. By the end of the video, all the players were able to pronounce and spell the name of the city right.
