After showing up a couple of hours late for his scheduled WWE World appearance, The Rock had a drunk fan slandering Cody Rhodes left, right, and center amidst the jam-packed crowd at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The Final Boss let the drunk fan enjoy his moment, telling him to ask his question with class, following which he told the world about how he plans to take down Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL.
Notably, The Rock was expected to arrive at the WWE World at 4 PM EST, but he showed up at the Pennsylvania Convention Center nearly two hours late. Upon making his way to the stage, he was serenaded with a chorus of boos before the fans chanted “Rocky Sucks” and “This is bullshit,” at the top of their lungs after waiting for him to make his way to the building.
During his time on stage at the WWE World, The Rock cut a scathing promo on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, planning to defeat them in a tag team match alongside Roman Reigns in the main event of night one at WrestleMania 40. The Final Boss also vowed to make Cody Rhodes bleed before putting his blood on the weight belt and handing it over to Mama Rhodes, making her cry in front of the live audience at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The Rock wishes happy birthday to young boy at WWE World
During his appearance at the WWE World, The Rock had a lovely interaction with a young boy named Austin, who turned five years old on the day, wishing him happy birthday in front of a big crowd at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. To make the little fan’s birthday more memorable, he also sang him a song from his movie “Moana,” called, “What can I say except you're welcome.”
Moreover, apart from competing in a tag team match at WrestleMania XL on Saturday night at the Lincoln Financial Field, The Rock will also induct his grandmother Lia Maivia into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2024.
