Lightweight Tony Ferguson recently pulled out a knife and placed it on the table during a press conference for UFC 291. The fighter, who donned curious sunglasses during the conference, talked about hunting bears and then pulled out a knife, seemingly to show off how tough he is and how serious he was about hunting bears. Ferguson will be fighting Bobby Green at UFC 291 on Saturday at the Delta Center and will be hoping to break a disappointing five-match losing streak.

Tony Ferguson not only fights men in the octagon, but also bears in the wild apparently. The fighter revealed his love of tracking and hunting the massive carnivores. El Cucuy explained how he tracked a bear down to its watering hole, explaining that he hunted the animal not because he likes to kill but to protect his camp and family from the beast.

Ferguson said, “I am a hunter, do you guys realise that? I started hunting when I was little, but I just don't like to kill s***, I like to track. I am out there doing my s*** right now, and very well conditioned. So, if you don't like what the f*** I have to say, f*** you. I have to protect my camp. So when I was out there, and my family was out there too, they walked and I had my wife and kid.”

After saying “shades and blades”, the fighter drew the blade.

UFC 291 to feature return of ‘El Cucuy’

Ferguson, who is a fan favourite for UFC enthusiasts, will be looking to win his first fight in four years against Bobby Green at UFC 291 in a stacked card hosted in Salt Lake City. The 155-pound veteran Bobby Green, who is called ‘King’, has 29 career wins and will be looking to have a good showing during the main event on Saturday.

Green is coming off a controversial no-contest loss against Jared Gordon and is on a losing streak of his own, losing also to Islam Makhachev and Drew Dober. Despite this, Brown goes into the match as the expected favourite of both the bookmakers and UFC fans,
