Ahead of Rajasthan Royal’s away fixture game against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai, the left-arm pacer Trent Boult was seen enjoying some off-time during a practice session as he was seen imitating Indian and CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling action.
Trent Boult, who hasn’t been in great form in this IPL lately, has been an integral part of the RR squad since he joined the squad in the mega auction in 2022. In the three seasons for the Jaipur-based franchise, Boult has taken 40 wickets wherein he has been exceptional with the new ball in powerplay overs.
Rajasthan Royals are next slated to play against Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side on Sunday afternoon and Boult and Jadeja are set to face off each other once again in hot and humid Chennai conditions. Before their clash, New Zealand’s seasoned pacer tried to echo the left-arm orthodox action of Ravindra Jadeja which was perfectly executed, in a video posted by the Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals are standing at the second position in the points table following their exceptional run in the ongoing tournament with eight wins in 11 games. The Sanju Samson-led side just needs a single victory to book their playoff berth after the 2022 season. On the other hand, Chennai needs two victories in the next three games to continue their juggernaut run in the Indian Premier League.
