Tyson Fury is making quick preparations for a possible confrontation with Francis Ngannou. The WBC heavyweight champion uploaded a video of himself punching, kneeing, and elbowing in the street while shadowboxing. The fight against Ngannou is almost confirmed, however, an official announcement is yet to be made by the fighters or the promotion.
After Fury defeated Whyte in April 2022, Ngannou entered the ring and the pair declared that their fight will follow hybrid rules. Although the fight’s rules haven’t been made public, it is expected that the fight will pan out like a normal boxing contest without many MMA elements.

In the footage, which was posted by Fury on his Instagram story, the 34-year-old British can be seen using techniques more common in MMA than boxing, like knee, elbow, and even a headbutt. This occurs as an upcoming matchup with former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou is anticipated. Ariel Helwani, a well-known MMA journalist, recently tweeted: "Tyson Fury x Francis Ngannou is expected to be announced very soon, per sources." But Helwani did not provide any other details regarding the potential nature of the conflict.

Later this year, it is rumoured that Fury, who has a 34-fight winning streak in professional boxing, will square off against former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou. After a contract issue, Ngannou departed the UFC and stated his desire to wrestle with Fury. The Cameroonian-French fighter is renowned for his tremendous power and quickness and has 12 knockouts in 17 MMA victories. He most recently defeated Stipe Miocic to win the UFC title, but Ciryl Gane defeated him in a rematch to take it away from him.
With 24 knockouts in 33 victories in the ring, Fury is renowned for his talent and personality. After defeating Deontay Wilder in their first fight, he defeated him a second time in October 2021 to keep his WBC title. A significant crossover event, the bout between Fury and Ngannou would draw supporters from both sports. Fury asserted that the Middle East has offered to host the bout this summer.
