What a sensational performance it was for Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Umran Malik during the match against Gujarat Titans. The Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler completed his maiden fifer and single-handedly kept his team in the match after a threatening opening partnership started to take the game away from the Orange Army.
Umran picked up the wickets of Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller and Abhinav Manohar on Wednesday to complete his five-wicket haul an achievement he will remember for times to come. The best of the lot was the ball to get rid of a well-set Wriddhiman Saha, who he dismissed through a 153 kmph yorker.

However, despite an inspiring performance from the speedster the SunRisers Hyderabad had to face a five-wicket defeat against Gujarat Titanns. Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia managed to chase down an improbable equation with Rashid hitting three sixes off the final over including 2 of the final two balls to help his team get over the line. The win has kept the Gujarat franchise firmly at the top of the points table as they now have 14 points from 8 matches.
