Popular Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has shown herself as an ardent cricket fan on many occasions. Recently, when Urvashi was asked about her favorite Pakistani cricketer during the IIFA Awards ceremony in the UAE, she had a predictable answer to the question. In response, Urvashi Rautela took the name of Pakistan cricketer Naseem Shah. However, this isn’t a first instance when Urvashi Rautela has been associated with the right-arm fast bowler from the neighboring country.

Earlier, she also reshared a fan made video on her social media featuring her and Naseem Shah smiling together. In the past, people also associated Urvashi Rautela with Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant as there were rumours that he had blocked Urvashi on Instagram. With that, Urvashi got embroiled in a controversy with the Indian cricketer a couple of years ago.

During her past interview, Urvashi Rautela claimed that Mr. RP was romantically interested in her. However, as soon as that interview went viral, the fans started anticipating that she is using the term Mr RP for Rishabh Pant. After that, both the personalities involved in an indirect banter on social media. After her interview, Pant shared an Instagram story on his social media where he wrote, “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name.” With an additional line, which read, “May God bless them.”
Rishabh Pant ended his story with hashtags like #merapichachorobehen” and “#jhootkibhilimithotihai”. Giving an indirect reply to Pant, Urvashi Rautela also shared a post on her social media where she wrote, “Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball...main koyi munni nahi hoon badnam hone with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho.”
