San Antonio Spurs’ emerging star Victor Wembanyama picks his basketball starting 5 featuring a Star Wars character. The 20-year-old, who is regarded as one of the exciting prospects has often inter-linked his professional career with that of Star Wars and had also taken the reference of the series previously to sum up his rookie NBA season.
On being asked about his Star Wars starting 5 in a basketball court, Victor instantly went with Wookiee warrior Chewbacca as his center owing to his fighting nature. Adding to that, he put Yoda as his point guard, who is as powerful and wise in nature. He picked up Han Solo as his shooting guard followed by Obi-Wan Kenobi as his small forward and Darth Vader as power forward.
According to the video posted on the San Antonio Spurs X handle, Victor was asked, “Who would be on your Star Wars starting 5.” After that, he answered, “We’re gonna select force though the use of the force is prohibited, so, I’m gonna go with Chewbacca at Center, I’m going with Yoda at point guard, then shooting guard I gonna go with Han Solo at the three I’m going with Obi-Wan and at the four Vader.”
