Team India are gearing up to take on Bangladesh in what will be their fourth group-stage game at the T2 0 World Cup 2022. The Men in Blue need to win against the Tigers in order to confirm their berth for the semifinals. And if India are to beat Bangladesh, Virat Kohli performing with the bat will be crucial. The star batter who has been in good form this World Cup could not stand tall against the South African bowlers as he got out for 12.

Therefore, the batter is working hard on the mistakes he made. Kohli took part in the indoor practice session at the Adelaide Oval wherein he played some aggressive shots against spinners. Kohli was seen batting against Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin in the nets. The batter mostly played aggressive shots against these two; in one instance, one of his shots almost hit Chahal.

As the leg-spinner bowled a loopy delivery on the off-stump, Kohli danced down the pitch and hit it straight towards mid-off (if it was there). The ball went past Chahal who was completing his follow-through. The bowler had to move few inches to avoid getting hit. Kohli immediately raised his hand to apologize to Chahal.

On the next ball, against Ashwin, Kohli once again walked down the pitch and played a lofted on drive towards long-on.

Coming to the match against Bangladesh, it is a must-win game for India if they are to qualify for the semifinals, and for that, the team requires their batters to fire. It was poor batting that became the reason behind India’s loss to South Africa. Except for Suryakumar Yadav, no batter really threatened South Africa. The Indian openers departed cheaply. KL Rahul once again failed.

Hardik Pandya too could not stay for long at the crease. Dinesh Karthik did hang around a bit with Yadav but could not score at a brisk rate.
