Indian top-order batter Virat Kohli pulled off an incredible one-handed catch to dismiss Nepal’s Aasif Sheikh in Asia Cup 2023. With this grab, the former Indian captain completed his 100th catch in a multi-nation tournament and 143rd overall catch in his ODI career, putting him fourth on the all-time list.

The 5th match of the Asia Cup 2023 saw Team India win the toss and invite Nepal to bat first. The Men in Blue started poorly as Kohli and Shreyas Iyer dropped two sitters. But eventually, as wickets started falling, India asserted dominance and ran through the Nepal batting. Opener Aasif Sheikh was the Rhinos’ only hope as he scored a crucial 58 when he mistimed a shot against Mohammed Siraj. As the ball looped up, Kohli held on to a stunning one-handed catch.
