Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter Virat Kohli engaged in a hilarious banter with the Chennai Super Kings’ seamer Deepak Chahar during the IPL 2024 opener on Friday, March 22. The home team’s seamer jokingly interrupted the RCB opener during his run to the non-striker’s end.
The incident took place during the RCB’s innings when Virat Kohli placed the ball swiftly for a single off Chahar’s bowling. While running to the other end, the 31-year-old pacer hilariously came in between Kohli’s path. Knowing the pacer was doing it cheekily, Virat reacted softly by pushing Chahar through a shoulder.
Following this, as Chahar was ready to go for a run-up, the 35-year-old batter gently tapped Deepak’s back with his bat and shared a heartfelt moment with him. The two players share a good bond and are often seen with such hilarious encounters.
