Ace Indian batter Virat Kohli was caught having an heated exchange with an Australian journalist upon his arrival at the Melbourne airport ahead of the Boxing Day Test in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) series down under. According to the report from 7News channel, Kohli was unhappy with the journalists after he realised that they are filming his family members without consent.
In a viral video, Virat Kohli can be seen having a heated argument with the TV journalist after the video cameras were pointed towards his children. “With my kids I need some privacy, you can’t film without asking me,” Kohli said as quoted by 7News channel. However, the journalists also claimed that they weren’t filming his children and other family members.

In their defense, 7News also claimed that they weren’t filming Virat Kohli’s family members and the Indian cricketer was misunderstood. "It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children," reporter Theo Doropoulos said, as mentioned in the report from the news channel.
Virat Kohli will be seen in action again during the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) starting on December 26. The right-hander had a great start to the series after he scored his 30th Test hundred in the first Test in Perth as India registered a famous 295-run win. However, Kohli couldn’t continue his form in the next two games in Adelaide and Brisbane respectively. The five-match series is currently levelled at 1-1 after the third Test at the Gabba ended in a draw. India now need to win one of the remaining two matches to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy again.
