Former India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Virat Kohli made a special appearance in Kagiso Rabada’s online podcast with Willow Talk. Virat, who plays for RCB in the Indian Premier League is in Dharamsala and is set to face Punjab Kings on Thursday, where Rabada and Virat will square off against each other at the picturesque HPCA stadium in Dharamshala.
Willow Talk is an Australia-based podcast channel hosted by Adam Peacock and Brad Haddin , which conducts interviews with cricket players worldwide and specialises in making cricket analyses. On Wednesday, before their game against RCB, the South African pacer was involved in an online podcast when Virat Kohli joined the team.
Rabada opened up on his thoughts about Test cricket when Kohli arrived, “greatest players playing Test cricket and….” He later informed Kohli’s entry to the podcast, “Virat Kohli is right there, he’s just, he’s dancing.” Then Virat Kohli inquired about what was happening to which Rabada said, “I’m on a podcast. It’s called Willow Talk.”
The Willow Talk host then asked Rabada to bring Kohli to the podcast and Virat did appear to have a surprise chat. He said, “Oh Australia, Hello boys, what’s happening? Big boy KG here.” The host asked the Indian batter about Rabada and Kohli made a hilarious comment, “I can't hear anything, so I’m just gonna keep blabbering like I always do about myself.” Rabada also took a quirky note of the situation and said, “He (Virat) thinks I’m a weak bowler” while Virat made a cheerful handshake with Rabada at the end.
