The Indian team posted 245 runs on the board after being invited to bat first in the ongoing first Test at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. While wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul was the lone warrior standing, scoring a crucial 101 runs with Virat Kohli being the second highest run-scorer with 38 runs.

However, the former Indian captain was dismissed on Day 1 of the ongoing Test, he was seen celebrating KL’s all-important ton early on Day 2. In another video going viral, the Indian batting stalwart was seen signing a RCB jersey for a young fan with former England cricketer turned commentator Mark Nicholas by his side.

The 35-year-old thereafter also clicked pictures with the young fan. It is to be noted that Kohli, who has been a prominent face of the Bangalore-based franchise, was retained by the team ahead of IPL 2024 mini-auction.

Speaking of Kohli, the Indian batter made a return to the Indian cricket team after being rested from the white-ball series against Australia and South Africa. Kohli was part of the India team at the ODI World Cup 2023 and finished as the leading run-scorer of the side and took an extended break after India’s heartbreaking loss in the CWC final.
