Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Virat Kohli couldn’t control his anger after wicket-keeper Jitesh Sharma and fast bowler Yash Dayal got involved in a terrible mix up in an attempt to take Suryakumar Yadav’s catch in match number 20 of IPL 2025 against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on Monday. As MI were chasing a target of 222 runs, Suryakumar Yadav attempted to smash Dayal’s slower delivery across the line in the second ball of the 12th over but mistimed the shot.

As the ball went up in the air, both Yash Dayal and Jitesh Sharma ran to grab the catch. In the end, both the players ended up colliding with each other as RCB missed an easy chance to dismiss inform Suryakumar Yadav. Reacting to this, Virat Kohli, who was fielding at the boundary, threw his cap in frustration after Dayal and Jitesh collided. However, it didn’t affected the game much as Suryakumar Yadav got out on the last ball of the over after scoring 28 runs off 26 balls.
