No chance for any team to have a break: Wasim Akram
With the 2025 Champions Trophy, an ICC tournament is coming back to Pakistan after 29 years. The last tournament Pakistan hosted was the 1996 Cricket World Cup jointly with India and Sri Lanka. The defending champions will kickstart the campaign with a match against New Zealand at Karachi National Stadium on February 19. Initiadlly, the whole tournament was scheduled to be held in Pakistan. However, the BCCI opposed sending their players to the neighboring country due to political tensions between both. Now, India are scheduled to play their matches in Dubai.
"Next month's Champions Trophy will see the strongest team win the tournament, as every game is a pressure game and there is no chance for any team to have a break." Wasim Akram said in a video.
