Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan in a last-ball thriller on Thursday to qualify for the Asia Cup 2023 final where they will face the reigning ODI format champions of the continental showpiece, Team India. Ahead of the final between India and Sri Lanka, Afghanistan fan girl Wazhma Ayoubi has recently shared a video on her social media handle to show her support for the Men in Blue.
Earlier, the Afghan mystery girl took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to congratulate India, her second favourite team after Afghanistan, on defeating Pakistan in a comprehensive manner in the Super 4s clash at the Asia Cup 2023.
Recently, Wazhma took to X and backed Team India to lift the Asia Cup 2023 title. The Afghanistan fan girl shared a video donning the Indian jersey with a message of support for the Men in Blue. She wrote, "Just felt like posting this once more 😜 See you in the finals! The cup will be ours!" with an Indian flag.

Wazhma also shared a carousel of pictures on X wearing "King" Virat Kohli's signed jersey, which the Indian veteran donned during the Asia Cup 2022 clash against Afghanistan. The Afghan superfan stated that she would change the jersey when the "GOAT" Kohli gifts her a new signed jersey. She wrote, "The jersey I am wearing to support my favorite team is the one worn by king @imVkohli himself in the #AsiaCup22, at the #INDvAFG match. It is also signed by him. I will change it when I get a new one signed by the GOAT himself."
Talking about the Asia Cup 2023, India will face Bangladesh for their last Super 4s fixture and are expected to rest big names as the game against the Tigers would be a mere formality as Team India have already qualified for the final. India will lock horns with Sri Lanka on September 17 in Colombo for the Asia Cup 2023 final.
