Harvansh Singh replicates MS Dhoni’s runout in U19 Asia Cup clash vs UAE
Young wicketkeeper Harvansh Singh reminded fans of the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni during his runout attempt in a match against UAE during the Under-19 Asia Cup fixture in Sharjah. During UAE’s innings, Harvansh left the commentators in awe and sent fans into a wave of nostalgia by replicating Dhoni’s runout attempt against the UAE.
During the innings, UAE opener Akshat Rai played a shot towards deep leg on Chetan Sharma’s delivery. As Akshat was coming to complete the second run, Harvansh Singh was near the wicket waiting to collect the ball from the fielder. As soon as he collected the ball, Harvansh made a throw towards the stumps without looking at the stumps. He was successful as the bails fell off. However, the UAE batter reached the crease on time and prevented himself from getting run out.
