The Game 1 between Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns in the first round of the NBA playoffs was full of action as the visitors dominated the game with five points at the Footprint Center on Sunday. During the half-time break, the Clippers guard, Russell Westbrook was involved in an altercation with a Suns fan, and the incident has gone viral on social media.
The Clippers ended the first half with a five-point lead and eventually finished the game with a similar difference, however, Westbrook had a disappointing first half according to his standards as the former MVP registered five points, five rebounds, and two assists during that time.
While Westbrook was leaving for the dressing room a fan appeared to have mocked him which led to an altercation. Many people took videos of the incident, where the 34-year-old guard was heard abusing the fan. While Westbrook said, "Watch your mouth, motherf*cker," the fan can be heard saying, "Take it like a man." Before things got heated, the security guard intervened and separated the two.

Eventually, Westbrook made a comeback in the second half and blocked Devin Booker late in the game. Talking about the game, the Clippers took a one-game lead in the NBA Playoffs 2023 first round against the Suns. For the visitors, star forward Kawhi Leonard racked up 38 points with five rebounds and assists each with three-off-five 3-point shooting. While Westbrook made nine points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists with two steals and three blocks.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant (27) and Devin Booker (26) combined for 53 points but couldn't help their side take the lead at home. Their next game is scheduled to take place at the Footprint Center on Tuesday night.
