Luckno w Super Giants captain Krunal Pandya posted an emotional note on social media after losing to Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023 Eliminator. After losing the toss, the five-time champions put forth a stellar batting display and posted a massive 182-run total. Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav were the star performers before Nehal Wadhera’s late cameo pushed MI to a massive score.

Then in the second innings, Krunal Pandya and his men never found any rhythm as they struggled to score freely. With the constant fall of wickets, LSG were in deep trouble before three blunderous run out ended their run in the tournament. Reacting to this performance and the 2023 IPL season, Pandya posted about how despite the ups and downs the team managed to stay together and show character.

He further shared how the team will make a stronger comeback in the coming season. Krunal Pandya's letter said, “It’s been a season that will remain with me for a long time. As a team, we have had our ups and downs this season, but have always stood up and shown character at various points through the campaign. @LucknowIPL.”

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach our ultimate goal of winning the IPL, but rest assured we will come back stronger. It has been a privilege to be a part of and have the opportunity to lead this team. A huge thank you to our fans for always having our back. See you next season.”

Despite multiple controversies around their campaign, the Lucknow-based franchise managed several memorable wins and clinched playoff qualification for the second time in a row. The season included some infamous thrilling wins against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. But a few injuries to their key players didn’t allow LSG to maximise their potential this year.
