On Tuesday, August 13, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the revised schedule for the upcoming Bangladesh series. However, the dates remained unchanged, the BCCI announced major shift in venues for the series. Apart from that Ben Stokes is set to miss the upcoming Sri Lanka series with hamstring injury and the ECB has withdrawn Chris Woakes from The Hundred.

BCCI announce revised home schedule for 2024-25 season

The BCCI on Tuesday, 13th August 2024 announced an updated schedule for the upcoming home season of Team India (Senior Men) for 2024-25. The first T20I between India and Bangladesh will take place in Gwalior instead of Dharmshala. Whereas Kolkata and Chennai will host the 1st and 2nd T20Is between India and England respectively.

Ben Stokes ruled out of The Hundred 2024 and series against SL

England Men's Test Captain Ben Stokes has been ruled out for the rest of the summer after tearing his left hamstring while playing for Northern Superchargers in The Hundred on Sunday. As a result of the scans conducted in Leeds on Tuesday, Stokes will miss the Sri Lanka series. England batter Ollie Pope will captain the side in Ben’s absence.

Pat Cummins likely to play domestic cricket before India Tests
