The Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India levelled the three-match T20I series 1-1 as they defeated Aiden Markram's South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Thursday, 14 December. On the other hand, Australia are going strong in the first Test against Pakistan as they have crossed the 450 mark in the first inning as David Warner smashed records with his century.

After winning the three-match T20I series, Ireland are scheduled to face Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series with the first match getting abandoned due to rain. The two sides will square off against each other in the second ODI at the  Harare Sports Club on Friday at 12:45 p.m. IST. The third ODI between Ireland and Zimbabwe will be played on Sunday, December 17.

SKY's ton and Kuldeep Yadav's five-for help India beat South Africa in 3rd T20I

After the first T20I got abandoned due to rain and losing the second match, Team India defeated South Africa in the third and final T20I at the Wanderers Stadium on Thursday by 106 runs. Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav struck his record levelling fourth T20I ton while Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a half-century. In the bowling department, Kuldeep Yadav picked up five wickets while Ravindra Jadeja dismissed two players as India restricted South Africa to 95 runs.

The Men in Blue will take on ODI World Cup 2023 semifinalists, South Africa in the rainbow nation, starting December 26. While the side will boast the return of skipper Rohit Sharma at the helm, along with Virat Kohli; star Indian pacer Mohammad Shami’s return looks gloomy. The 33-year-old  is nursing an ankle injury and will not be travelling to South Africa with the rest of the players in the squad, Cricbuzz reported.

Kagiso Rabada doubtful for Test series against India: Reports

After the completion of the T20I and ODI series, the Proteas Men will host the Men in Blue in a two-match Test series, starting December 26.  However, ahead of the commencement of the Test series, South Africa have been handed a blow as star pacer Kagiso Rabada, who was set to return after a break from the white-ball tour, now remains doubtful. The 28-year-old was scheduled to play for the Lions in the first-class match against the Dolphins at Kingsmead but missed it due to a bruised heel.
