The Sunrisers Hyderabad created history by posting the highest score in IPL history, which helped them beat Mumbai Indians by 31 runs despite the five-time champions scoring 246 runs.  SRH saw quick-fire half-centuries from Travis Head, and Abhishek Sharma before Aiden Markram and Henrich Klassen finished off the first innings with a total of 277.  Klassen top-scored with 80 in 34 balls with four fours and seven sixes. In the chase,  MI went blow-for-blow and scored 141 in the first ten overs. But the match turned in the last 10 overs with  Pat Cummins,  Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jaydev Unadkat putting a stop to the flow of runs.
