Lionel Messi will have a chance to add the only silverware that is missing in his cabinet on Sunday when Argentina will face France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 final. The 35-year-old has confirmed that the final will be his final game in the World Cup and many are believing that it could also be legend's final game for Argentina. However, the main question that is arising right now is that will Messi be fit enough to play the final?

Notably, the 35-year-old missed the training on Thursday due to a hamstring scare but manager Lionel Scaloni confirmed on Saturday that Messi is fit and will start for Argentina in the final.

Argentina's football team also shared pictures from the training session and Messi could be seen having some fun with teammates.

Lionel Messi has been in excellent form this World Cup, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists in the tournament so far. He is the top contender to win the Golden Boo. France's Kylian Mbappe, who has also scored 5 goals and has provided 2 assists, is currently second in the race.
