Rajasthan Royals finally got the benefits of the constant backing and support to Assam all-rounder Riyan Parag this season with the 22-year-old cricketer eventually cracking the code of consistent performance in the IPL 2024. The Jaipur-based franchise registered their second back-to-back win in as many matches with Parag emerging as the standout performer for them.

After years of battle in the cash-rich league, Parag finally repays the faith to the Rajasthan team as on Thursday night against Delhi Capitals, the 2018 U-19 World Cup winner rises to the occasion with a blistering 45-ball 84 to help the home side post 185 on the board which eventually proved sufficient.

However, at the auction table, the Pink outfits managed to hold him with a staggering price of INR 3.8 crores. Since then, he has been travelling with the franchise for the same price.
