When are India's matches in T20 World Cup 2021?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the full ICC T20 World Cup 2021 schedule on Tuesday morning. The tournament will be held across four venues - Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Oman. The mega tournament is all set to take place from October 17 to November 14. Meanwhile, India will start their T20 WC campaign with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai. All eyes will be on the highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan, which has been scheduled for October 24.

The Qualifiers of the tournament will be played from October 17 to October 22, while the main tournament will commence from October 23. The tournament will begin with the Round 1 Group B encounter between hosts Oman and Papua New Guinea on 17 October. The top two teams in each group will proceed to the Super-12 stage of the tournament, beginning on 23 October.

Notably, the main tournament will kick off with Australia taking on South Africa on October 23. This match will be followed by an England vs West Indies match in the evening in Dubai. India have been placed in Group 2 alongside Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Zealand. They will also be joined by two teams from the qualifiers stage.

India fixtures in T20 World Cup 2021

Group-1 comprises England, Australia, South Africa and defending champions West Indies. The group stage of the T20 WC 2021 will conclude on November 6 with matches between Australia and West Indies in Abu Dhabi, and England and South Africa in Sharjah. The final of the tournament has been scheduled for November 14 (Dubai), with Monday kept as a reserve day.
