Former Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt recently took to social media to share his opinion on the ongoing India vs Pakistan rivalry. The former skipper of the Men in Green, while speaking on Nadir Ali’s YouTube channel put down several points while making a comparison between the arch-rivals.
In the podcast, he also remarked that India are under a significant pressure during their matches against Pakistan. He also added that Pakistan have come out on top over the arch-rivals at multi-national as well as international levels in the recent past.
“When we face India, the pressure is on them, not us. When I was playing, there was not even a single day when we thought that they would beat us. Pakistan recently won against India in the Asia Cup, the Champions Trophy final, at T20 World Cup in 2021, and also recently won the ACC Emerging Cup final,” he said on the podcast.
Adding further he stated, Pakistan has played better cricketer in the knockout matches, citing India’s consecutive loss at the WTC Final, earlier against New Zealand and then against Australia.
