According to Anil Dias, who is a reporter for the Indian Express, only 9000 out of the possible 11,000 tickets will be sold for the AFC matches. The rest of the 2,000 seats are expected to be reserved for special guests, actors, and politicians. The tickets are expected to be more expensive than usual considering the demand and the stature of the game and to be sold out quickly. There is still no information on where the tickets will be available.
The club also hinted at the start of ticket sales on Twitter as it posted the ticket emoji, the soon emoji, and the side eye emoji.
Mumbai City have a tough task on their hands as they face Al Hilal, who finished third in the SPL last season. The players will also get a chance to go up against one of their idols, Neymar Jr., a former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player who was recently signed by Al Hilal.
