After 42 days of thrilling cricketing action, the ODI World Cup final 2023 is finally drawing close to its end. Curtains will come down on the marquee ICC tournament on November 19, Sunday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where India will lock horns with five-times world champions, Australia. The summit clash of the tournament will be preceded by a grand closing ceremony, which will be attended by several notable figures from across the globe.

As the Men in Blue look forward to putting an end to their 12-year-long World Cup trophy gap, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to grace the event. Not only this, but as per several reports also suggest that an invite has also been sent to the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to join PM Modi at the world’s largest cricket stadium on Sunday. Not only this, but India’s Home Minister Amit Shah is also likely to root for team India at the stadium.
The ICC and BCCI will reportedly felicitate the previous World Cup winning captains ahead of the match. If the reports are to be believed, names including Kapil Dev, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Clive Lloyd, Kapil Dev, Allan Border, Arjuna Ranatunga, Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting are expected to land up for the same. Along with them, former cricketers including Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar are expected to arrive at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
A few other reports suggest that ‘Khalasi’ singer Aditya Gadhavi along with Bollywood composer Pritam will perform for the audience. Film stars including Rajnikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Athiya Shetty, Kamal Hassan, Ram Charan might also be present at the stadium as India play Australia for the final time in World Cup 2023.
