England's popular ‘Bazball’ mode of playing Test cricket saw serious challenge in the form of young Pakistan bowler Abrar Ahmed, who stunned visitors on Day 1 of the second Test in Multan on December 9 (Friday). Ben Stokes-led side dominated the series opener with their aggressive game and posted enough runs on board to eventually take 1-0 lead in the bilateral contest but had a troubled start to their second game as the leggy hunted down seven of the English batters.

The 24-year-old made a remarkable debut in the Multan Test as he wreaked havoc among England's batting lineup by dismissing the likes of Zak Crawley (19), Ben Duckett (63), Ollie Pope (60), Joe Root (8), Harry Brook (9), Ben Stokes (30), and Will Jacks (31), and restricted visitors to 281/10 in 51.4 overs.
