Team India’s ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh took the world by storm as the couple announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy on November 15, 2024. With the impending birth of his second child, skipper Rohit Sharma earlier took a paternity leave ahead of the five-match Test series, the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT), and went on to miss the opening Test of the match down under.

However, days after the birth of the child, the couple have finally revealed the name of their son. Taking to social media, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh shared an Instagram story as the Christmas fever gets in. While decorating a Christmas tree, Ritika shared a picture which had the four members of the family put in a frame.
She preferred to name all four characters as Ro, Rits, Sammy and Ahaan. However, it has been less than an hour that Ritika shared this picture on her Instagram story, but since posting, it has been doing rounds on social media.
Speaking of the 37-year-old India captain, Rohit Sharma joined the team down under on the fourth day of the Perth Test. The Indian skipper will return to the helm in the second Test of the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy despite Jasprit Bumrah leadinig the side to a comprehensive win by 295 runs. Rohit Sharma is currently featuring in the Indians side for the two-day warm-up match against Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI, underway at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
