Kushal Malla is a Nepalese cricketer who was born on 5th March 2004. The left-hand batsman and left-arm spinner have earned a reputation for himself as a very hard-hitting batter and hence he is considered to be Shahid Afridi of Nepal.

Kushal Malla being the rising star of cricket has played 29 ODIs and 16 T20I matches for his national side so far. He made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in a tri-nation series which was played in Singapore in Sep-Oct 2019. Soon after, he made also made his ODI debut in February 2020 against USA where he was seen scoring 50 runs off 51 balls.

Kushal Malla holds the record for being the youngest male cricketer to score a half century in international cricket at the age of just 15 years and 340 days. Just after playing three ODIs for Nepal in April 2020, he was awarded a central contract by Cricket Association of Nepal.

During the 2020-21 Nepal Tri-Nation series, he became the youngest batsman to score a half century in a T20I game. Kushal Malla currently has scored 634 runs in ODIs from 27 innings with four fifties and one century to his name. In April 2023, he got his first ODI century while playing against Oman in 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup.

Kushal Malla in a very short T20I career has scored 320 runs from just 14 innings at a huge strike rate of 180.79 with one century and one fifty to his name. Kushal Malla got his maiden ODI century while playing against Mongolia in Asian Games 2023 (today) and notably, he went onto record the fastest century ever in T20I from just 34 balls.
