Johnson featured for the Oval Invincibles in the Hundred on Wednesday and had an incredible performance of 20-19-1-3 against the Manchester Originals. The player was also called up by Australia’s T20I squad for their South African tour for the first time and featured in the Global T20 Canada finals for the Surrey Jaguars on Sunday. Spencer Johnson is a cricketer from Australia who was born on December 16 1995. He has a left-arm fast bowling style and has already featured for several teams in different T20 leagues. In the Big Bash League, Johnson played for the Brisbane Heat and the Adelaide Strikers and was part of the LA Knight Riders in the inaugural Major League Cricket season.
Most recently, he featured for the Surrey Jaguars in the Global Canada T20 league and for the Oval Invincibles in the Hundred. So far in his short career, he has featured in four first-class matches, six List A and 11 T20 matches. Johnson has taken 20, 6 and 12 wickets in each format respectively.
